“I want to see your body in all of its glory.” (Dr Robert Franzino, to young neighbor girl)
A physician who once practiced in the Pittsburgh area admitted in court this week to pursuing a sexual relationship with a teenage girl. He confessed to using his cell phone and social media to lure a 15-year-old neighbor into sending him sexually explicit photos.
Doctor Robert Franzino, age 60, had already lost his medical license in a “drugs-for-sex” case embarrassment more than 10 years ago. He was found to have been prescribing narcotics to 4 different women in exchange for sexual favors. According to case records, he was employed at Excela Westmoreland Hospital in the town of Greensburg in 1999.
He was sentenced to 10 years probation and prohibited from practicing medicine in Pennsylvania. The state medical board revoked his license in November 2005.
Some fools just don’t learn.
Federal prosecutors took the most recent case in May and charged Franzino, an emergency room MD, for pursuing an underage sexual relationship, which could result in a life sentence. Investigators testified he sent social media messages – sent between Sept 2015, and March 2016 – to offer the teenager drugs and cash for sex.
As far back as 2002, this lab coat loon was finding multiple ways of getting into trouble, being found guilty of state drug law violations and Insurance Fraud.
State medical boards don’t learn very quickly either. They repeatedly relicense these habitual criminals.
This time, Frisky Franzino faces a 20-year term in prison when he is sentenced by U.S. District Judge Arthur Schwab in February. We can assure you he will get considerably less, because . . . well, he wears a lab coat for a living.
And by now, if you’ve learned anything from the Medical Miscreant website – America just loves their bad-boy doctors, even when they push drugs and rape children.
Here’s another view of this pathetic case:
