In Atlanta Georgia, the DeKalb County Police Department raided a physician’s home yesterday and found hundreds of caged, abused and starving animals, many of which lay dead next to their living cell-mates.
Investigators discovered at least 400 exotic birds and 8 dogs in the home, which is owned by a well-known cardiologist, Doctor Abhay Trivedi. At least 20 of the birds were dead. Trivedi is employed by Atlanta Metro Cardiology in Decatur, Georgia.
Acting on an anonymous tip, the Department of Animal Services obtained a search warrant for the residence on Echo Trail in Atlanta, according to DeKalb County police spokesman Major Stephen Fore.
The doctor faces felony animal cruelty charges. Stay tuned.
Trivedi is an Indian immigrant who attended Maulana Azad Medical School in Delhi, India in the early 1990’s. He then came to the U.S. to ply his trade and enjoy his appalling hobbies.
There is a reason we refer to the Trivedi’s of healthcare Third World Assassins. There exists no better term. And American medicine is chock-full of some of the freakiest immigrant MDs on the planet. And then they do all in their power to hide their behavior.
