Another Immigrant Physician Jailed for Patient Sexual Assault: This One in Kentucky

“He told Patient ‘H’ that there was no charge for office visits on Saturdays, and if she wanted to come in, the office girls wouldn’t have to know.” (Kentucky Board of Medical Licensure, document statement)

In the city of Louisville a physician who was found guilty in April of sexually assaulting female patients was sentenced this morning, during what turned out to be a highly emotional scenario in Jefferson County Circuit Court.

Doctor Ghias M. Arar, a 53-year-old neurologist, convicted on six counts of sexual abuse two months ago, was sentenced by Judge Mitch Perry to three-years in state prison.

Arar’s wife addressed the judge in tears before the sentence was read, pleading that her doctor-husband be allowed to return home. Arar’s attorney had argued that Arar’s patient assault convictions were not serious enough for jail time. He said probation would be more appropriate,  that there was “zero-to-no-risk” that the frisky physician would re-offend.

You may want to go back and read that mentally-tweaked attorney’s – and his name is F. Todd Lewis – statement again.

The prosecutor, on the other hand, argued that Arar was “charitable and fine, right up until he sexually assaults his patients.” And he had plenty of the daffy doc’s DNA evidence to prove his case.

UNDER THE RADAR

Judge Mitch Perry told the court that “it’s a sad day for everybody,” and that he simply could not issue an order for probation.

Arar was initially arrested by the Louisville Police Department on February 22, 2013, on the same day that the first victim spoke with police.

So in the end, another sexual predator skates away on minimal punishment. This particular doctor’s sentence of three years means he will serve six months for each sexual assault.

And people have the nerve to ask us how we became “The Paramedic Heretic.”

Immigrant or home-grown molester (of which there are plenty):

Something similar happened to lady friend of mine a number of years ago. She had had robotically assisted bypass surgery and had a minimal scar under her left breast. Several years after she was in the ER for chest pain. The attending physician (a first-worlder), lifted her gown without warning or permission (presumably out of curiosity about her bypass, as that type is very rare) exposing her breasts and nipples. When he noticed that I was observing him, he quickly dropped her gown and sheepishly retreated from the room.

Every woman that I have been close to has had one or more experiences of male doctors crossing the line in some way or another.

Our immigration policy is based on a number of national myths, such as the equality of all peoples and cultures, that assimilability should not be a consideration, nor state of health, moral character, age, etc.
Meanwhile, other nations are being very selective about who is allowed to live among them, while we are serving as a receptacle for undesirables and surplus populations.. Our immigration policy, in short, is nothing more than an affirmative action program for the Third World.

By the way, I like the format of this post, Pat, with the links to the offenders files.

    • S.A. –

Yes, it would be terrific if all medical boards got this kind of info up quickly for all to see. Some don’t put it up for a year or more, and most don’t do it at all.

Thank you as always for the observation.

In Louisville, Kentucky the police coerce false testimony in a variety of ways. The threaten to have the state take children away. They take women who have been caught in crimes related to drugs and script their testimony. They even encourage this type of allegation with the promise of financial rewards to civil suits. Metro Narcotics commits hundreds of felonies by violating various statutes including KRS 311.990(5). The end result is that it is impossible to know the truth about any criminal case in this county.

    • David Sangster says:

In this case only the DNA evidence is reliable. Otherwise I would be very skeptic.

    • “The end result is that it is impossible to know the truth about any criminal case in this county.”

No, actually it isn’t. And the reason it isn’t is because a person of wisdom learns early on to separate the messenger from the message. The Romans taught their children this 2,500 years ago.

It is entirely possible that a given law enforcement agency is not to be trusted. Police are responsible for the arrest and the interrogations. But the case is not tried by the cops. It’s tried in a court where evidence is presented. Bad cops might or might not “coerce” during interrogations.

How – exactly – does a bad cop generate the doctor’s bodily fluids on a patient’s clothing?

The subject here is called “logic” and it almost always shines a light into the darkness of doubt.

How about this fine specimen of a first-world gynecologist:

Hey, whatever happened to there’s nothing sexual aboutl male doctors doing gynecology??
